This training is developed to help Federal agencies develop an effective program to build and maintain a diverse, high-quality workforce. Managers will understand the importance of cultural diversity and other individual differences through:
• Increasing awareness of the business, cultural, demographic, and legal frameworks for understanding and managing diversity;
• Supporting managers, supervisors, human resource professionals, and other staff in their efforts to respect, appreciate, and value individual differences.
Terminal Objective
Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to identify and justify no less than three reasons cultural diversity is crucial to maintaining a high-quality workforce.
